welcome to bklyn prairie!

i started this blog when i moved from chelsea to south williamsburg with my boyfriend and my dog. i was mid-career shift and lonely in the apartment all day. the blog gave me the push i needed to get back to my normal self – my exploring, coffee drinking, eating everything in sight, dog-walking, traveling self. it also became a place to celebrate the things that inspire me: my work, places and to eat and drink, cooking, interior design (my former life), and travel.

i work in new york city as a freelance food stylist for tv, print, editorial, and cookbook projects. my professional portfolio is here.
