i was at Diner, one of my favorite neighborhood haunts, a week or so ago and i saw a couple make their way towards their table in the back. the guy was wearing a varsity jacket, and i… made fun of him. hard. not to his face, that would be mean. but to my dining companion. i don’t remember my exact words, but my overall point was that he was giant, lame, loser with the nerve to step into my field of vision.

i obviously haven’t been reading enough GQ this fall.

back in September, GQ identified this as a trend, and was kind enough to highlight several of the best. still not sure how i’m feeling about it as appropriate outerwear for anyone actually out of high school.
